ComEd - LED Streetlight Data Collection and Management Program
Provided streetlight data collection and GIS analysis. Streetlights were updated throughout the Commonwealth Edison trade territory, over 600 counties, townships, and municipalities, and over 1.3 million poles.
The scope of work included locating all utility-owned fixtures, recording 48 attributes in a required attributes list, identifying any requirements to bring each street light pole to the LED specification, and associating each fixture with an existing GIS pole record and/or an existing billing ID record in a specified format to upgrade systems with no manual intervention. Our data management team pre-processed all data to verify location and information. After the field audits were complete, all data went through an automated QA/QC process, before our data team finalized it and formatted it to be returned to ComEd.
