Champaign County Bridge Replacement

The Champaign County Highway Department, under the leadership of County Engineer Jeff Blue, undertook a significant bridge replacement project in Illinois, marking Valmont’s first installation in the state. The project aimed to address safety concerns, improve infrastructure durability, and enhance traffic flow for local residents. The collaboration between the Champaign County Highway Department, Resident Engineer Ryan Mumm, Design Consultant Mark Leighton from WHKS & Co., and General Contractor Nick O’Neil of Big O Services, resulted in the successful installation of a modern bridge structure that will serve the community for many years to come.
